Declarations for Believers Born of Water and Spirit

As believers, we are not only born of the flesh but of water and Spirit. Jesus Himself declared in John 3:5, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.” This rebirth makes us new creations, empowered to walk in the Spirit and perform supernatural works that glorify God. Below are declarations inspired by scriptures and examples from the Word of God to help believers step into their identity as Spirit-filled individuals walking in the supernatural.

1. I Am Born of Water and Spirit

John 3:5: “No one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.”
Declaration:
“I declare that I am born of water and the Spirit. I am a new creation in Christ, empowered to live a supernatural life. I walk in the authority of the kingdom of God, manifesting His glory on earth.”

2. I Walk in the Spirit

Galatians 5:25: “Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.”
Declaration:
“I proclaim that I walk in the Spirit. My thoughts, words, and actions are aligned with the Holy Spirit’s leading. I move in supernatural power, demonstrating God’s will wherever I go.”

3. I Perform the Works of Jesus

John 14:12: “Whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these.”
Declaration:
“I declare that as a believer in Jesus, I perform the works He did and even greater works. I heal the sick, cast out demons, raise the dead, and release the power of God in every situation.”

4. I Speak and It Is Done

Mark 11:23: “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.”
Declaration:
“I proclaim that my words carry the authority of heaven. I speak to mountains, and they move. I declare miracles, and they manifest. My faith releases the power of God into the natural world.”

5. I Am Clothed with Power from On High

Luke 24:49: “I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high.”
Declaration:
“I declare that I am clothed with power from on high. The Holy Spirit equips me to perform supernatural works that testify to God’s goodness and power.”

6. I Operate in Supernatural Gifts

1 Corinthians 12:7-10: “Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good… to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits.”
Declaration:
“I declare that I operate in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. I speak in tongues, prophesy, discern spirits, and perform miracles by the power of God for the benefit of His kingdom.”

7. I Am Led by the Spirit in All Things

Romans 8:14: “For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.”
Declaration:
“I proclaim that I am a child of God, led by His Spirit. The Holy Spirit directs my steps, empowers my decisions, and leads me into supernatural encounters.”

8. I Live a Victorious Life in the Spirit

Romans 8:11: “And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of His Spirit who lives in you.”
Declaration:
“I declare that the same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead lives in me. I walk in resurrection power, living a victorious life that overcomes every challenge.”

9. I Am a Vessel of Living Water

John 7:38: “Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.”
Declaration:
“I declare that rivers of living water flow from within me. The Holy Spirit flows through me, bringing life, healing, and restoration to all I encounter.”

10. I Manifest Heaven on Earth

Matthew 6:10: “Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”
Declaration:
“I proclaim that I manifest heaven on earth. Through the Spirit of God, I bring the realities of heaven—peace, healing, joy, and freedom—into every situation around me.”

Examples of Spirit-Led Supernatural Works

  • Philip and the Ethiopian Eunuch:
Acts 8:39: “The Spirit of the Lord suddenly took Philip away, and the eunuch did not see him again.”
Declaration: “I declare that I am led by the Spirit, moving in supernatural ways to fulfill God’s assignments on earth.”

  • Peter Walking on Water:
Matthew 14:29: “Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus.”
Declaration: “I proclaim that I walk in faith, performing supernatural works as I keep my eyes fixed on Jesus.”

  • Paul Healing the Sick:
Acts 19:11-12: “God did extraordinary miracles through Paul, so that even handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched him were taken to the sick, and their illnesses were cured, and the evil spirits left them.”
Declaration: “I declare that God performs extraordinary miracles through me. The power of the Holy Spirit flows through me, bringing healing and deliverance.”

The Power of Hope: Overcoming the Spirit of Despair

In life, it’s easy to find ourselves weighed down by despair. The feeling of hopelessness can be overwhelming, leaving us grasping for anything that might offer relief. When despair strikes, we may seek comfort in a variety of distractions—conversations with others, alcohol, or other fleeting sources of temporary pleasure. Yet, no matter how much time we spend trying to fill the void, the emptiness remains. Why? Because these distractions can never truly satisfy us. Only the Spirit of God can fill us in a way that no earthly distraction ever could. Despair’s Deceptive Comfort When despair sets in, we often turn to things or people for solace. It can be easy to fall into the trap of looking for quick fixes—a conversation with a friend, a drink, or mindless entertainment. While these things may provide momentary comfort or a sense of relief, they ultimately leave us feeling empty. This is because, as human beings, we are designed to be filled by God’s presence. Our souls are wired to fin...

Loving the Unlovable: The Power of God’s Love in a Hurting World

Love. It’s the heart of the Christian faith, and yet, for many of us, it’s one of the hardest things to practice—especially when the people we’re called to love keep hurting us. We know that love is central to who we are as believers, but let’s be honest: loving those who hurt us, especially when they don’t admit their wrongs, can feel impossible. Sometimes, we want to lash out, hurt others with our words or actions, or even withdraw altogether. But what if our love—real, Christ-like love—wasn’t just a feeling, but something much deeper? What if it was a measure of how well we understand the love that God has for us? The Definition of Love: A Reflection of Ourselves In 1 Corinthians 13, we find one of the most beautiful and challenging definitions of love. It says that love is patient, kind, and doesn’t keep a record of wrongs. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things. But what if we replaced the word “love” in that chapter with our own n...
