Balak was terrified of the Israelites, who had grown in number and strength. He believed that if Balaam cursed them, it would weaken their power. However, as Balaam sought the Lord, he received a shocking revelation: "How can I curse whom God has not cursed?" (Numbers 23:8). Despite Balak’s attempts to manipulate the situation and persuade Balaam to curse the Israelites, God intervened.
