A Scriptural Prayer of Blessing Over Sons and Daughters

Father of lights, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob,
I come before You acknowledging that children are a heritage from the LORD
and that the fruit of the womb is Your reward (Psalm 127:3).

I place my hands upon my sons and daughters, and I bless them in Your name.

Walking in the Ways of God

Lord, put Your law within them and write it on their hearts (Jeremiah 31:33).
Cause them to delight in the law of the LORD,
that they may be like trees planted by streams of water,
bearing fruit in their season, whose leaf does not wither,
and whatever they do shall prosper (Psalm 1:1–3).

Let them acknowledge You in all their ways,
and You will direct their paths (Proverbs 3:5–6).
Teach them Your ways, O LORD, that they may walk in Your truth
and fear Your name with undivided hearts (Psalm 86:11).

Preservation from Babylon and Its Seduction

Father, I ask that You would separate them in heart and mind
from the spirit of this age.
As You preserved Daniel, give them resolve not to defile themselves
with the delicacies of Babylon (Daniel 1:8).

Let them come out from among her and be separate (2 Corinthians 6:17),
not loving the world nor the things in the world,
for the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life
are not from You but are passing away (1 John 2:15–17).

Remove from them every desire for what You have not planted.
Let Babylon hold no attraction, no fascination, no authority over their hearts.
Teach them to see Babylon as You see it—empty, fleeting, and deceptive.

Discernment and Victory Over Deception

Lord, give them eyes that see and ears that hear (Isaiah 6:10).
Grant them the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You,
that the eyes of their understanding may be enlightened (Ephesians 1:17–18).

Let them not be ignorant of the enemy’s devices (2 Corinthians 2:11).
Train them to test the spirits and recognize what is not from You (1 John 4:1).
May Your word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105).

When deception speaks smoothly, let truth rise louder.
When lies disguise themselves as light,
cause discernment to expose them instantly.

Identity, Strength, and Protection

I declare that my sons and daughters are taught by the LORD,
and great shall be their peace (Isaiah 54:13).
No weapon formed against them shall prosper,
and every tongue that rises against them in judgment is condemned
(Isaiah 54:17).

They are strong in the Lord and in the power of His might (Ephesians 6:10).
They are not conformed to this world,
but are transformed by the renewing of their minds,
that they may discern what is the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God
(Romans 12:2).

Final Blessing

May the LORD bless them and keep them.
May the LORD make His face shine upon them and be gracious to them.
May the LORD lift up His countenance upon them and give them peace
(Numbers 6:24–26).

I seal this blessing by faith,
trusting that He who began a good work in them will complete it
until the day of the Lord (Philippians 1:6).

Amen.

Scriptures that outline the rights, responsibilities, and privileges of being part of God's family

Here’s a list of scriptures that outline the rights, responsibilities, and privileges of being part of God's family. These verses highlight the believer's identity in Christ, the spiritual inheritance, and the call to live according to God's will. Rights and Privileges Child of God : John 1:12 : "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name." Inheritors of God’s Kingdom : Galatians 4:7 : "Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ." Breaking the Chains: Embracing Freedom and Authority in the New Covenant

Here are declarations based on the scriptures, focusing on breaking the power of old covenants of sin and affirming the freedom and authority believers have in Christ through the New Covenant: Jeremiah 31:31-34 “Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah… For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.” Declaration: “I declare that through the New Covenant in Christ, every old covenant of sin and iniquity is broken over my life. The Lord has forgiven my sins and remembers them no more. His law is written on my heart, and I walk in His truth and freedom.” Luke 22:20 “And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, ‘This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood.’” Declaration: “By the blood of Jesus Christ, I declare that I am no longer bound by the law of sin and death. The blood of the New Covenant covers me, redeems me, and sets me free. The...

Manifesting God’s Glory: A Choice Between Power and Passivity

The Bible teaches that believers are the salt of the earth —a vital force meant to preserve, influence, and illuminate the world. Jesus warns in Matthew 5:13 : "You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot." This verse presents a sobering reality: believers have a choice to either remain effective and impactful or become ineffective and trampled upon . This principle is reinforced throughout Scripture, where we see those who boldly displayed God’s power and those who hid away in fear or compromise . Let’s explore examples of those who manifested God’s power versus those who remained passive , and the implications of both choices. 1. Elijah vs. The Hidden Prophets (1 Kings 18:1-39) Elijah: A Man of Power In the time of King Ahab and Queen Jezebel, Elijah stood boldly for God. He was outnumbered, persecuted, and hunted , yet he displayed...
